Pool Fence Inspections

Need a pool fence inspected?

As of 2015 all homes with pools that are for sale or for rent are required to present a current pool safety certificate issued by a licensed pool fence inspector.

This demonstrates to potential buyers or tenants that the pool fence has been checked and meets standards for safe heights, gaps, well maintained parts and latches, and more.

Ready to get started?

If you book Ross to complete a building inspection with a pool safety inspection at the same time, bundle pricing can apply.

This requirement is primarily for the safety of children to prevent drowning; a responsibility we take very seriously. While inspections can be completed quite efficiently, they are done with precision and a thorough understanding of the code.
Following an inspection, some defects may need to be addressed before a safety certificate can be issued. As a QBCC licensed builder, Ross is also qualified to make professional repairs to pool fences to help you meet the requirements for a safety certificate. These works are quoted separately.

Note: If you are living in your own home with a pool, not looking to rent or sell, your pool fence has to be compliant, but an issued certificate is not compulsory.
